The 12th Century Castello di Gabbiano is situated between Florence and Siena and sits on a hilltop in the heart of Tuscany's famous Chianti Classico region. A vaulted aging cellar lies under the Castello, and the estate stretches around it to include: historic farmhouses (now guesthouses), Chianti Classico vineyards, Olive groves, a working Tuscan farm and a top quality restaurant "Il Cavaliere". The winery is equipped with modern vinification equipment: temperature controlled stainless steel tanks and state of the art bottling and packaging lines.
