Light, lemon yellow. Fresh and frutal. Notes of pineapple, citrus and peach, with soft notes of vanilla. Complex, good balance and fresh acidity, a medium-bodied wine with a long, sweet finish. Great with fish, seafood and creamy pasta dishes.
Casillero del Diablo got it's name over 120 years ago from a legend created by the winery's founder - Don Melchor. When Don noticed that some of his finest Concha Y Toro wines were missing, he spread the rumour amongst villagers that a devil lived in his cellar. Hence the translated named of Devil's Cellar. Since then the wine theives remain deterred.
