Lovely jubbly
Ooh it's great and all my mates think I'm a wine ponce now because I drink Palo Alto! :-)
Brian Sadler, 14-01-2010
Brilliant, greenish-yellow. Intense, typical notes of Sauvignon Blanc; citrus and herb notes. Fresh, balanced with good acidity and persistent finish. Goes well with seafood, fish and fresh foods.
“Palo Alto” is the nickname for the thorny flowering trees that are dotted all over the rolling hillsides of the Maule Valley, the place where their wines are produced. Viña Palo Alto was born in 2006 with the aim of exploiting the best of the Maule Valley. Its first wine was Palo Alto, a red blend which broke away from classical red wines across the world with a vanguard style and attractive presentation. Following the success of its red wine blend, Viña Palo Alto widened its range to include a Sauvignon Blanc in 2007 and a Shiraz Rosé in 2008.
